About Carefree Resort
Carefree Resort is
about families and making lifelong friends.
Carefree is
about getting
away from the rush of the city life.
Carefree RV Resort is
located on the south shore of Gleniffer Lake just 15
minutes west of Innisfail or a
little over an hour north of
Calgary.
Carefree is a Bareland Condominium
Community with 613 owners who elect a Board of Directors to
manage their corporation.
The commitment and long term
planning of the Board of Directors and of the owners ensures
that we will continue to be the envy of all resorts in
Alberta and Western Canada.
Development of our community began in 1985 and was completed
in 1996.
Along with our clubhouse and local store, we
have a 25 meter outdoor swimming pool,
private sandy beach, playgrounds, horseshoe pits, and basketball
court, as well as other amenities.
The
Gleniffer Lake Boating Society operates, and
provides for Carefree owners, a private boat launch and
marina accommodating 200 boats.
Carefree
offers an on-site secure storage
compound for boats and travel trailers.
